John Keagy

John Keagy

Founder, Chairman, & CEO

John is an Internet infrastructure pioneer, with nearly 20 years' experience as a CEO building and running successful Internet infrastructure services. John founded InReach Internet in 1995, which was the largest profitable Internet Service Provider (ISP) in the Western United States at the time of its sale in 1999. As the founder of ServePath in 2001, he drove the early growth of the dedicated server hosting market by introducing multiple firsts, including the first multiprocessor servers and the first hosted load-balanced server networks. John launched GoGrid in March 2008 as the world's first full-featured on-demand cloud infrastructure service. John has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Kennedy Award in Business from UC Berkeley.

 
Brett Newsome

Brett Newsome

Chief Financial Officer

Brett joined GoGrid in April 2008 and is responsible for the company's financial strategy, treasury, accounting, human resources, and legal activities. He brings more than 14 years' successful leadership experience ranging from rapidly growing startups to Big 4 accounting firms to his role at GoGrid. Previously, he served as VP of Finance for UltraDNS Corporation from pre-revenue in 2001 through its acquisition by Neustar in April 2006. At UltraDNS, Brett was responsible for finance and administration, including financial strategy and due diligence related to all M&A and partnership activities. Brett has also held leadership positions with KMPG, telecom startup Edge Connections, and CitiGroup. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA.

 
Mark Worsey

Mark Worsey

Chief Information Officer & EVP Technology

Mark brings 25 years of repeated success in engineering market-leading products and technologies across a broad range of industries to his role as CIO & EVP Technology at GoGrid. Previously, Mark was CIO & VP Technology for Blackhawk Network, with responsibility for driving the technology platform strategy and global network operations for this prepaid and gift card payments processing leader. Mark has also held senior technology leadership positions at several startups, including Xign Corporation (until its acquisition by JPMorgan Chase) and Netscape Communications (until its acquisition by Time Warner). As the VP Engineering & Operations at Netscape, Mark delivered a series of first-ever online services, including MyNetscape, Netcenter, and the Netscape General Store. Mark began his career with more than a decade of large-scale, multi-year systems development initiatives at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). He has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Purdue University.

 
David Smith

Dave Smith

VP Global Sales

Dave brings more than 25 years' experience in sales to his role at GoGrid. Previously, he was Senior VP of Global Sales for EdgeWave (formerly St. Bernard Software), a leading secure content management solutions provider. While at EdgeWave, he helped grow the company's commercial business and doubled the sales of a newly acquired SaaS email security product. Prior to EdgeWave, Dave was VP Sales and General Manager for FrontRange, successfully growing the company's revenues prior to its acquisition by Francisco Partners. He has also held senior sales positions at 3COM, culminating in VP Americas Sales & Service, and was Area Sales Director for Oracle. His ability to steer complex sales organizations and to launch new business strategies for both startups and midsize companies makes him a perfect fit for GoGrid.

 
Bobby Brown

Bobby Brown

VP Operations

Bobby has been working in the high-tech and Internet arenas since 1996, when he realized that being involved with leading-edge technology was his calling. He worked for startups such as North Point Communications and Google as well as larger tech companies such as SBC (now AT&T) and Nortel Networks before joining ServePath (GoGrid's founding company) in 2005. Bobby's experience in helping companies run efficiently while still being able to scale properly allows him to excel at GoGrid, where he runs multiple 24x7 departments that require and maintain 100% uptime.

 
Heather McKelvey

Heather McKelvey

VP Engineering

With more than 25 years' experience designing and delivering hardware and software products, Internet services, and software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions, Heather brings strong technical expertise and a history of delivering innovative products to her role as VP of Engineering at GoGrid. Heather has in-depth experience developing for multitenant SaaS/cloud platforms, eCommerce platforms, music/media Internet services (DRM, streaming), and highly scalable, fault-tolerant solutions. Prior to joining GoGrid, Heather was VP of Engineering at Mashery, VP of Engineering & Support at MarketLive, and Sr. Technical Director at Netscape/AOL.
